A transparent D-shaped moss pole that acts as both a support and a rooting surface. It brings nodes and aerial roots close to moist sphagnum, guides the plant vertically and can be extended discreetly as the plant grows.

How it works

From a simple support to an aerial-root environment

The flat closed back helps slow moisture loss.
The perforated front provides contact and airflow.
Stack only units of the same size and closure position.

Classic-line compatibility

Classic poles do not connect to Front Opening poles or their accessories.

The closed back, ventilated front and moist sphagnum create a support and aerial-root contact surface.

Supports mature growth

Vertical growth and rooting on the pole can support natural aroid development.

Slower drying than an open support

The closed back reduces exposure while the front remains ventilated.

Add another same-size unit before roots reach the top.

Fold on the scored lines

Form clean, stable creases.

Lock the tabs

Shape the D and secure each tab fully.

Fill, plant and orient

Use moist sphagnum above the pot and face nodes towards the cells.

Do not over-compress sphagnum

Fill firmly enough for structure while retaining air space for roots.
