Assembly instructions
Want to get started with creating plant-pot combinations in hydroponics? It's easy if you follow the right steps and the right materials.
Necessary supplies
Hydrogranules
They have the ability to retain water and nutrients and release them slowly into the plant. They are RHP certified, guaranteeing an optimal start for cultivation. RHP certification ensures that the substrate meets the correct quality requirements with a pH and neutral EC value.
Plant
Choose a plant whose roots have no soil, essential for hydroponic cultivation.
Liner
To make the pot completely waterproof, it is necessary to use an inner, waterproof liner. These flexible inner liners are available in various sizes, depending on the pot you will use. The liners have a cutting point at the appropriate height, ensuring that the plant and water level indicator are always at the correct height in the pot.
Pot
Almost any pot can be used! All colours, sizes, shapes and materials are suitable. If the pot is not waterproof, you can use the corresponding liner to seal it.
Water level meter
In hydroponics, the watering method is the same for almost all plants. You use a water level indicator that shows when the plant needs watering again. Water the plant until the water level indicator reaches the optimum water level (OPT). Note: the water level indicator always reacts with some delay and sometimes it can be blocked. Tap the meter lightly if it does not respond as expected.
Plant Food
Use one of the available fertilizers for hydroponics, no conventional fertilizers are applied to plants in this method of cultivation.
Ground cover material
The grains of the leca can become white over time. This is not mould and is completely harmless to the plant. A surface layer of some decorative material, e.g. vulkaponin, decorative stones, etc., prevents discoloration from being visible and gives the pot a luxurious appearance.
Instructions:
Determine the length of the water level indicator. Determine the water level indicator.
Determine how high the inner liner should be placed (liner) in the pot and fill the bottom of the pot with a layer of scales.
Cut the liner to the desired height and place it in the pot.
