Planter Coaster

The specially designed LECHUZA base makes even a large, planted planter easy to move without spoiling its clean line. It is hidden beneath the planter and, with five durable wheels, moves it smoothly in every direction — for cleaning, repositioning, or refreshing the space without constant lifting.

Hidden mobility

The planter moves. The base almost disappears.

The circular platform fits into the recess of a compatible planter, and the five wheels remain low, beneath its body. This way, the planter gains 360° movement without a visible, bulky cart.

Placement

Three steps for proper, centered footing

The base is not screwed into the planter. The correct size and central placement are what ensure the intended fit.

01 · Confirm the model

Match the full name and size of the LECHUZA with the compatibility guide before selecting 43, 50, 60, or 70.

02 · Place the base

On a level floor, carefully tilt the planter and position the coaster in its central recess. For a heavy planter, use a second person.

03 · Lower and check

Gently place the planter, check that it is centered, and test the rolling with a small, controlled movement.

Total load

Up to 180 kg on 5 casters

The total load includes the planter, the plant, the substrate, and the water. The 180 kg rolling capacity does not mean one person should tilt or lift a very heavy planted planter.

Correct surface

Smooth, level floor

The small wheels work better on a stable, clean, and flat path. Before a threshold, deep joint, gap, or step, stop; do not roll the loaded coaster over obstacles.

Do not choose based only on the outer width of the planter. For example, the PURO 50 uses the 43 base, while the CUBE 50 uses the 60 base. The compatibility guide above takes precedence over simple numerical matching.

Is 43, 50, 60, or 70 the diameter of the base?

No. The option number corresponds to the compatible LECHUZA planter size. The actual dimensions of the base are approximately Ø26 × 5.8 cm for the 43, Ø30 × 5.8 cm for the 50, Ø36 × 5.8 cm for the 60, and Ø42 × 5.8 cm for the 70.

Which base fits my planter?

The 43 option fits CLASSICO 43, CANTO wide, QUADRO 43, PURO 50, and CUBE Zero 40. The 50 fits CLASSICO 50, QUADRO 50, CANTO 40, CUBE 40, and CURSIVO 40. The 60 fits CLASSICO 60 and CUBE 50. The 70 fits CLASSICO 70 and HAVALO 60.

How much weight can it move?

LECHUZA specifies a maximum total load of 180 kg on the five wheels. The weight includes the planter, the plant, the substrate, and the water, while the base must be properly centered on a flat surface.

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
