CUBE Cottage

A clean cubic form meets an embossed weave finish in a planter that adds warmth to greenery without visually weighing down the space. Available in three sizes for medium to very large plants, the CUBE Cottage works equally well as a standalone feature or in grouped arrangements at home, at an entrance, in a shop, on a balcony or on a terrace.

LECHUZA Classic System · removable plant liner

The planting can be lifted using the recessed handles

Plant in the removable plant liner, which lifts completely out of the outer planter body. The sturdy handles rise when needed and recess neatly into the rim after the liner is returned. After the initial rooting period, the Classic System supplies the roots from the water reservoir, while the water-level indicator shows the MIN and MAX levels.

The plant liner is removable for plant replacement, root care, or easier relocation of the planting.
The recessed handles remain discreet when not in use.
For the first few weeks, water from above and then use the water reservoir with the MIN/MAX indicator.
In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can be drained.

From planting to self-watering in four steps

The correct start helps the roots fully utilize the Classic System.

01 · Prepare the plant liner

Place the system components according to the instructions and spread the provided LECHUZA-PON at the base.

02 · Complete the planting

Add substrate suitable for the plant, leaving the filling shaft and the water-level indicator free.

03 · Water from above

In the first weeks, water the substrate from above so that the roots grow toward the moisture zone.

04 · Use the water reservoir

When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and monitor the MIN and MAX indicators.

Consumption varies with the type of plant, sun, wind, and the size of the planter. During heat waves or in very exposed spots, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.

Surface care

The embossed weave is easy to clean

Remove dust with a soft brush or a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong cleaners so that the texture and color remain uniform.

Before using it outdoors

In an uncovered area, remove the drainage plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain away. For indoor use, the plug must remain properly closed. Always place the planted CUBE Cottage on a stable, flat surface that can support its total weight.

What does the All-in-One Set include?

How is the inner plant liner removed?

Lift the recessed handles and lift the plant liner vertically out of the outer planter body. This way you can change the planting, tend to the roots, or move the plant more easily.

Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?

For the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then you can transition to reservoir watering: fill it about halfway and observe if the level drops in the following days. When the plant starts drawing water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator normally.

When do I refill the reservoir?

When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plant and then refill up to MAX. The duration depends on the species, location, temperature, and wind. On very hot days, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.

Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?

Yes. The body is resistant to UV exposure and weather conditions. In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain away.

What size does the wheeled base fit?

The concealed wheeled base is compatible only with the CUBE Cottage 50. Choose the size 50 base.

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
