Ξεχωριστή ποικιλία με γυαλιστερά, μικρά φύλλα που αναπτύσσονται πάνω σε κόκκινους βλαστούς.
Το χρώμα των φύλλων ποικίλει από ανοικτό πράσινο σε σκούρο πράσινο.
Έχει συμπαγή ανάπτυξη και αναπτύσσεται σαν μικρή μπάλα. Προτιμά θέσεις φωτεινές και χρειάζεται λίγο πότισμα.
English
It is a succulent plant with the ground cover growth.
It produces numerous reddish and fleshy stems, on which, arranged in an opposite way, tiny round and shiny bright green leaves grow, that enclose in very small rosettes.
In autumn, with the lowering of temperatures, the plant takes on pink tones that make it even more beautiful.
In summer, small but pleasant flowers, grouped in an umbrella shape, of a characteristic cream-white color, bloom.
Care
- Most of the species prefer very bright places, however preferably sheltered from direct sunlight.
- The lowest temperatures they resist vary a lot: some species withstand the tempretures down to 10 °C, others can resist the temperatures even down to -10 °C!
- Water moderately only when the soil is completely dry. In winter, suspend watering. When placed outdoors, many species survive very well with only rainwater.
- A suitable soil for succulents is fine, they do not require special requires (many species even grow in the cracks between the walls).
- They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
