English
L. gracilidelineata is a succulent exemplar with a particular and unmistakable look.
The epidermis has a pastel grey colour to blend in with the surrounding environment, with small irregular brown spots. Its leaves are very fleshy, shaped like an inverted cone and are arranged in pairs, united at the base. Its beautiful yellow flowers bloom in the fissure from the two leaves.
The name L. gracilidelineata comes from the Greek and literally means "from the appearance of the stone", to identify the peculiarity for which this little succulent is so loved: it is otherwise called "living stone", for its shape and for the colour that takes on its two leaves.
Care
- It likes very bright places, however, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. It prefers environments with low humidity.
- It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
- Water moderately in spring and summer but only when the soil is completely dry and suspend watering completely in winter.
- The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mix of peat and pumice so that water does not stagnate.
- They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
