Ξεχωριστό και ασυνήθιστο παχύφυτο με ζωντανούς χρωματισμούς στα φύλλα σε αποχρώσεις του ζεστού ροζ και του ανοικτού πράσινου, που δημιουργούν όμορφες αντιθέσεις όπου και αν φυτευτεί. Πολύ ανθεκτικό σε έντονη ζέστη και παρατεταμένη ξηρασία.

Τα έντονα χρώματα του αναδεικνύονται καλύτερα όταν τοποθετηθεί σε φωτεινή θέση με άμεση έκθεση σε ήλιο για κάποιες ώρες της ημέρας.

Χρειάζεται υπόστρωμα με πολύ καλή αποστράγγιση και λίγο προς μέτριο πότισμα. Το Καλοκαίρι εφαρμόζεται λίπασμα πλούσιο σε κάλιο στο 1/4 της συνιστώμενης δόσης.

Είναι ιδανικό φυτό για γλάστρες καθώς φαίνεται συνέχεια όμορφο και παραμένει μικρό. Εξαιρετικό φυτό και για συνθέσεις με άλλα παχύφυτα.

Τα ροζ άνθη εμφανίζονται το Καλοκαίρι, περιμένοντας το απόγευμα για να εντυπωσιάσουν και για να κλείσουν στο ηλιοβασίλεμα.

The name of the genus Anacampseros is derived from the Greek "ἀνακαμπψέρος" and means "to lower", in fact it is a low-growing succulent plant, which clusters easily and assumes a groundcover habit.

A. Rufescens f. variegated is called '春梦殿锦' in Chinese, which means "Spring Dream" because of the beautiful shades of green and magenta of its small fleshy leaves.

In spring you can admire its beautiful white or pink flowers, which bloom from a long stalk.

Care

• It requires a full sun exposure or even partial shade, when still receiving a lot of light all year around.
• It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures, but never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
• Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. Once every two weeks in spring and summer, in autumn and winter is enough to water it once every two weeks.
• A substrate rich in minerals but also well draining, in order to avoid water stagnation, is an optimal solution.
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
