Nora taupe

A small handmade terracotta plant pot in a warm taupe shade, with a soft matt appearance and a fine natural texture subtly reminiscent of leather. Natural texture

Matt taupe with a warm, tactile character

The Nora’s surface softly absorbs the light and reveals subtle variations in the handmade terracotta. At this small size, the texture becomes a refined detail that adds quality even to the most limited surface.

The Nora identity

Leather-like textureThe fine natural surface gives the taupe shade greater depth and character.
Small balanced formThe compact proportions suit desks, windowsills and narrow shelves.
Handmade terracottaPortuguese craftsmanship makes every piece slightly different.

Plant pairings Pairs particularly well with Haworthia mutica ‘Byakuya’ and Peperomia ‘Rosso’: the white-green geometric rosette and dark red-green foliage create a clear contrast with the warm taupe base, as do other plants available in Ø10.5 cm nursery pots.

Where it looks best On a desk, bedside table, windowsill or small shelf, alongside light wood, beige or ecru surfaces and subtle metal details.

Return it to the decorative pot only when it is no longer dripping, and make sure no water remains in the base.

Cleaning & protection

Clean it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh chemical cleaners.
On wood or another sensitive surface, place a protective layer underneath.

Handmade product: Small differences in shade, texture, size or form are a natural part of handmade terracotta. The material is porous and is not guaranteed to be fully watertight, so protect sensitive surfaces.

Frequently asked questions

What nursery-pot size fits inside the Nora?

It is suitable for a plant in a Ø10.5 cm nursery pot. Measure the nursery pot’s external diameter at the top rim before placing it inside.

Can I plant directly in the decorative pot?

For safe drainage and to protect the decorative pot, keep the plant in its own nursery pot and remove it when watering.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

It is designed for indoor use. Avoid exposure to rain, frost and prolonged intense sunlight.

Why is the Nora called 11 cm when its maximum diameter is 12 cm?

The 11 cm value is the variant name and corresponds to its height. The maximum external diameter is 12 cm; when choosing a plant, use the compatible Ø10.5 cm nursery-pot size as your guide.
