Corona Orchid is the watertight outer pot. The transparent Orchid Culture Pot 11/11 fits inside, while the Pegulator II/12VE shows the water level without lifting the plant.

First use

Set up the orchid without compressing roots

Prepare the Orchid Culture Pot 11/11 and root system first. The outer pot is added last and forms the controlled reserve.

Rinse the components

Rinse the insert, disc and selected growing medium to remove fine residue.

Fit the disc and indicator

Place the drainage disc at the base and the II/12VE in its dedicated socket.

Support the roots

Add suitable bark, LECA or a compatible mix around the roots without over-compacting it.

Place inside the outer pot

Lower the assembly carefully and, for hydroculture, add water slowly to the usual OPT mark.

For an orchid in organic substrate

Let the inner pot drain fully and do not keep bark permanently standing in water. The water-level reading applies to a system with a free-water reserve.
