Hydroponic Pots 5–28 cm
1 piece
Water level indicator II turns the most uncertain moment in hydroculture — “how much water is left?” — into a clear, visible reading. Its MIN, OPT and MAX scale lets you check the reservoir without lifting the cultivation pot or guessing, while six available versions fit matching Hydroponic Pots with planting depths from 5 to 28 cm. It is a small component that makes a meaningful difference to consistency: choose the correct size, read the level at a glance and build a calmer, repeatable watering routine.
Reads the level · does not measure moisture
See the reservoir without taking the system apart
The indicator fits into the dedicated holder of a compatible Hydroponic Pot and reaches the water reservoir in the watertight outer pot. The visible reading rises or falls with the level, giving an immediate MIN, OPT or MAX reference.
Choose the version by cultivation-pot planting depth, not the overall height of the outer pot.
For routine care, OPT is the normal refill target.
MAX is for temporary use when a larger reserve is needed, such as before an absence.
It is not a moisture sensor. The reading refers to free water in the reservoir, not moisture held by LECA or roots.
Schematic section of the system; not a scale drawing. The indicator reads free water in the reservoir, not moisture retained inside the granules.
01
Check at a glance
Read the level without lifting the cultivation pot or disturbing the roots.
02
Correct fit by depth
Six versions cover matching Hydroponic Pots from 5 to 28 cm planting depth.
03
A steadier routine
MIN, OPT and MAX replace blind guesswork with a visible point of reference.

Six versions · one clear choice
Match the indicator to the Hydroponic Pot depth
The indicator name follows the planting depth of the matching pot. Do not simply choose the largest indicator; choose the version designed to fit the specific cultivation pot.
Dimensions and codes follow the six variants displayed for this product.
Use & readingsMIN, OPT and MAX without confusionNormal refill to OPT; MAX only temporarily.
Normal refill target: OPT
Read the three levels correctly
The scale shows how much free water remains in the watertight outer pot. For normal care, fill to OPT, let the level fall and refill according to the plant and conditions.
MIN
The reservoir is low
The level has fallen towards minimum. Time the next refill according to the plant's use rather than a rigid calendar.
OPT
The normal refill target
Add water slowly and stop at OPT. This maintains a visible, controlled reservoir without keeping it permanently at MAX.
MAX
Temporary use before an absence
Use it when a larger reserve is needed, such as before a holiday. It is not the permanent level for everyday care.
Important: The indicator is not a moisture sensor and does not assess root condition. It only shows the level of free water in a correctly assembled system.
First use
Four steps to a clear reading
Correct fitting matters more than filling the reservoir quickly.
01
Choose the version
Match the Hydroponic Pot depth to II/5VE, II/7VE, II/9VE, II/12VE, II/19VE or II/28VE.
02
Fit it before adding LECA
Place the indicator in its dedicated holder and make sure it reaches the base of the system correctly.
03
Check free movement
The internal indicator must move without obstruction. Remove granules or residue that could block it.
04
Fill slowly to OPT
Add water to the watertight outer pot and stop when the reading reaches OPT.
Technical & careFree movement, clear readingChecking, rinsing and six fitting depths.
MIN · OPT · MAX
Visible level scale
The reading brings the reservoir level into view without lifting the cultivation pot from its outer pot.
5–28 cm
Six fitting depths
Six variants cover matching Hydroponic Pots with nominal planting depths of 5, 7, 9, 12, 19 or 28 cm.
Cleaning and checking
Free movement keeps the reading reliable
Residue, mineral deposits or small granules can interfere with indicator movement.
Rinse with lukewarm water
Remove the indicator carefully and rinse its exterior and accessible moving parts.
Check before refitting
The indicator should rise and fall without friction or sticking.
Avoid aggressive cleaning
Do not use high heat or strong cleaners that could deform the plastic parts.
Complete the system correctly
The indicator works as part of a system
Pair it with the correct Hydroponic Pot, suitable growing medium and a watertight outer pot.

Clear answers on size selection, correct readings and cleaning.
01How do I choose the correct size?
Match the Hydroponic Pot planting depth to the version number: 5 cm → II/5VE, 7 cm → II/7VE, 9 cm → II/9VE, 12 cm → II/12VE, 19 cm → II/19VE and 28 cm → II/28VE.
02Does it measure moisture inside LECA?
No. It shows the level of free water in the watertight outer pot. It does not measure moisture retained by the granules and does not replace observation of the plant.
03Should I fill to MAX every time?
No. For normal care, fill to OPT. MAX is for temporary use when a larger reserve is needed, such as before a period away.
04How often should I refill?
There is no single interval for every plant. Let the level fall, observe consumption and refill according to the plant, season and growing conditions.
05Why is the reading not moving?
Remove and rinse the indicator, then check for deposits, residue or small granules restricting movement. Refit it without forcing and test again.
06Can it be used in an ordinary soil pot?
It is designed for a system with a free-water reservoir and a compatible holder. In an ordinary draining pot it does not work as a soil-moisture meter.
07Does it work with Pon or another mineral substrate?
It can be used when the setup has a compatible Hydroponic Pot, watertight outer pot and free-water reservoir. The reading always refers to the reservoir level.
08Is the Hydroponic Pot included?
No. The pack contains one indicator in the selected variant. The Hydroponic Pot, LECA, outer pot and plant are sold separately.
