The special LECHUZA square base gives the CUBICO 30 and 40 the freedom to be repositioned without losing their clean, architectural line. The peripheral frame continues the geometry of the planter, while four durable wheels are hidden underneath and allow smooth movement in any direction.

The CUBICO sits on the square frame and rests centered in its specially designed slot. The wheels are located beneath the base so that the function remains discreet and the overall geometry stays clean.

The 30 and 40 options correspond to the exact size of the planter. The actual base is slightly larger so that it forms the outer edge frame.

Placement

Three steps for proper, centered footing

The base does not go inside the planter and does not require screwing. The CUBICO is placed externally on the correct square frame.

01 · Confirm size

Check that the planter is CUBICO Premium, Cottage, or Color 30/40 and select the same number on the base.

02 · Lower the CUBICO

Place the base on a level floor and lower the planter centered into the socket. For heavy, planted CUBICO use a second person.

03 · Check the rolling

Make sure the planter sits evenly and first try a small, slow movement on a clean, smooth surface.

What base size do I need for my CUBICO?

No. This specific base is produced for CUBICO Premium, Cottage, and Color 30/40. It is not compatible with CUBICO 22, CUBICO 50, or CUBICO ALTO.

Does the base go inside the planter or does it need to be screwed in?

No. It is a separate coaster placed on a level floor, and the CUBICO sits centered on it. Screwing into the planter is not required.

Is it the same base as the 43–70 model with 5 wheels?

No. The CUBICO base is square and has four wheels. The circular base 43–70 with five wheels is a different product, so the 180 kg limit does not apply to the CUBICO base.

On what surface does it work best?

It works best on a stable, clean, and level floor without obstacles. It is not intended for rolling a loaded planter over steps, deep gaps, uneven joints, or high thresholds.
