LECHUZA Classic System · removable plant liner

The planting can be lifted using the recessed handles

The removable component is the plant liner, not the outer planter body. The plant remains inside it, and the entire liner lifts out using the recessed handles for repotting, care or easier relocation. After the initial rooting period, the Classic System supplies the roots from the reservoir, while the water-level indicator shows the MIN and MAX levels.

The plant liner is removed vertically from the outer planter body.
The recessed handles remain discreet when not in use.
For the first few weeks, water from above and then use the water reservoir with the MIN/MAX indicator.
In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the drain plug so that excess rainwater can drain away.

01 · Prepare the plant liner

Place the system components according to the instructions and spread the provided LECHUZA-PON at the base.

02 · Complete the planting

Add substrate suitable for the plant, leaving the filling shaft and the water-level water-level indicator clear.

03 · Water from above

In the first weeks, water the substrate from above so that the roots grow toward the moisture zone.

04 · Use the water reservoir

When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and monitor the MIN and MAX indicators.

The special black base is hidden beneath the planter and facilitates moving the planted CUBICO in any direction. Choose the same size as your planter. This specific base is only available for CUBICO 30 and 40 — not for 22 or 50.

Surface care

The premium shine requires gentle cleaning

Remove dust and fingerprints with a soft, damp microfiber cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive sponges, stiff brushes, and strong cleaners to keep the high-gloss or metallic finish uniform.

Before using it outdoors

In an uncovered location, remove the drainage plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain away. For indoor use, the plug must remain properly closed. Always place the planted CUBICO on a stable, flat surface protected from strong wind, especially when the plant is tall.

What exactly is removable in CUBICO Premium?

The plant liner in which the plant is located is removed, not the outer planter body. Raise the recessed handles and lift the plant liner vertically, so that you can change the planting, care for the roots, or move the plant more easily.

Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?

For the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then you can transition to reservoir watering: fill it about halfway and observe if the level drops in the following days. When the plant starts drawing water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator normally.

When do I refill the reservoir?

When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plant and then refill up to MAX. The duration depends on the species, location, temperature, and wind. On very hot days, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.

Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?

Yes. The body is resistant to UV radiation, frost, and weather conditions. In uncovered outdoor spaces, remove the drainage plug so that excess rainwater can drain.

Which sizes fit the CUBICO wheeled base?

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
