Μία πανέμορφη ποικιλία με μοναδικούς κόκκινους χρωματισμούς. 

Οι αποχρώσεις και η ένταση του χρωματισμού εξαρτάται από την εποχή και την ποσότητα του ήλιου που δέχεται το φυτό.

Χρειάζεται περισσότερο πότισμα από τα άλλα παχύφυτα, καθώς έχει σχετικά μικρό και ρηχό ριζικό σύστημα.

English

Beautiful succulent with really surprising colors: it has the typical rosette arrangement, consisting of rather short and pointed leaves, with slightly ciliated edges.

What impresses at first glance, is the magnificent red hue of the foliage, enriched by variegations of an even darker and intense red color that make A. Medusa' really unique.

The name of the species refers to the mythological creature, in relation to the almost three-dimensional streaks of colour, similar to the locks of Medusa’s hair.

The shades will tend, as for all the other Aeonium, to change over the seasons, keeping however colors so intense as not to pass unnoticed!

Care

• It requires a lot of light all year long, however avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
• It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures or over, but never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
• Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Do so once every two weeks in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
• A well-draining soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
• They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
