Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Blue Planet'
The short, low growing coniferous shrub with ball-shaped habit, similar to 'Boulevard' type but thicker and less sensitive to fungal diseases.
After 10 years it grows up to 30 cm in height.
The phyllotaxis is in the form of soft, silver-bluish needles with two visible stripes of white coating beneath. Good resistance to frost .
It is fit for planting in containers set on balconies and terraces.
