Semponium 'Destiny' is a pioneering intergeneric cross between Aeonium and Sempervivum.
It is the first officially recognized cross between these genera. '
Destiny' has large rosettes and strikingly dark, veined leaves, with colours ranging from bright green in winter to very deep purple. This Semponium retains its intense colours all year round, unlike most other purple Aeonium hybrids.
'Destiny' has a compact habit and grows into a beautiful, dense, conie-shaped plant as it ages. The rosettes are incredibly strong and are known to start branching after a year or two. This robust plant has thick, firm, glossy leaves.
The plant has been bred by Mark Lea and Daniel Michael from England and is protected by plant breeders' rights.

How to care for Semponium 'Destiny' 'Destiny' grows up to 60 cm across on a single rosette. Overall, 'Destiny' is a very robust plant which is a great addition to any garden, rock garden, balcony or terrace.
Place 'Destiny' in full sun to semi-shade in well-drained soil. 'Destiny' has been tested to be hardy to -5 ºC so far.
