LECHUZA Classic System · water reservoir 4 L
The water reservoir feeds the roots from below
The provided LECHUZA-PON spreads over the separating base and creates the functional zone between the substrate and the reservoir. Once the initial rooting period is completed, water is added through the special filling shaft, and the water-level indicator clearly shows the MIN and MAX marks.
The plant is transplanted into the removable plant liner with the appropriate substrate.
The included LECHUZA-PON is used as a base layer, not for full filling of 13 L.
In the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone.
In uncovered outdoor areas, remove the overflow screw so that excess rainwater can drain.

From planting to autonomy in four steps
LECHUZA-PON creates the base layer and the main substrate is chosen according to the plant.
01 · Assemble the system
Properly place the separating base, the filling shaft, and the water-level indicator in the plant liner.
02 · Spread the PON
Evenly cover the separator base with the LECHUZA-PON included in the package.
03 · Plant and water on top
Place the plant, fill with appropriate substrate, and water from above during the initial rooting period.
04 · Activate the water reservoir
When the roots reach the moisture zone, fill from the filling shaft to MAX and allow the appropriate dry phase when the indicator reaches MIN.
Woven satin texture
The weave gives depth to the large sphere
The fine relief repeats the image of a woven surface and subtly breaks the light, so that the large volume appears warmer and more refined.
Red Dot Design Award
Award-winning design, without unnecessary lines
The PURO Color 50 has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award for its combination of innovation, functionality, and quality — exactly what lies behind the clean spherical shape.
Where it fits
01Living room, entrance, or professional space, as an independent sculptural green point.
02Veranda, balcony, or courtyard, alone or repeated in two shades.
03Next to an outdoor seating area, where the spherical form softens the strict lines.
04On a stable, flat surface, protected from strong wind, with suitable lighting for the selected plant.
How to choose the right plant
01The root ball should fit in a plant liner approximately Ø27.7 cm with a planting depth of 23 cm.
02LECHUZA specifies a maximum plant height of 60 cm, because the height affects the center of gravity and stability.
03Choose a suitable substrate and adjust the dry phase according to the specific plant's needs.
04For outdoor use, choose a plant species suited to the actual sun, wind and temperature exposure of the location.
