LECHUZA Wick System · integrated into the plant liner
The wicks connect the PON with the water reservoir
The plant is transplanted into the removable plant liner with LECHUZA-PON. Two integrated wicks reach into the reservoir and transfer moisture to the mineral substrate through capillary action. The MIN/MAX indicator makes the water level visible without needing to lift the plant.

Proper planting in four steps
Plant directly in the removable plant liner using the included LECHUZA-PON.
Make sure the water-level indicator and both wicks are correctly positioned in the removable plant liner.
Pour part of the LECHUZA-PON into the plant liner, leaving the necessary space for the root ball.
Remove the plant from the nursery pot and carefully fill around the roots with PON.
Slowly add water until the indicator reaches MAX. When it drops to MIN, allow the dry phase the plant needs before watering again.
Looks wrapped in fine fabric
The surface is not simply matte. The fine texture repeats the pattern of a weave and gives depth to the sphere, without strong reflections or unnecessary details.
No “wrong” side

How to choose the right plant

Soft cloth, no scrubbing
Clean the body with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleanser. Avoid abrasive sponges that may damage the delicate textured surface.
The MIN starts the dry phase
When the indicator reaches MIN, do not refill the reservoir mechanically. Usually leave 2–10 days, adjusting the duration to the actual needs of the plant and the conditions of the space.

For indoor use — not exposed to rain
The PURO Color 20 does not have an overflow valve and LECHUZA recommends it for indoor use. Do not leave it in an uncovered outdoor area, where rain can overfill the reservoir and disrupt the proper moisture cycle.
