A flexible, reusable tape that is cut to the length you need and holds the shoot close to the moss pole or other support. Clean fit, firm hold and easy repositioning as the plant grows.

Brings the plant close to the support — without squeezing it

The Plant Tie wraps around the stem and moss pole, trellis or stake, and secures by overlapping its ends. So you only use as much length as you need and you can change its position later.

Cuts to length for smaller or larger attachment points.
Keeps nodes and aerial roots to the side of the moss pole.
It leaves the foliage facing outwards and growing freely.
It is removed and repositioned as the shoot grows taller or thicker.

Support, not bandaging. The tape should hold the stem without compressing it. Leave a little margin and check the ties regularly as the plant grows.

Where is it used?

The tape does not depend on a specific pole model. It adapts to the attachment point and the diameter of the support.

Four-step application

Cut, place, wrap, check

You need enough length for the tape to go around the plant and support, with a little overlap at the ends.

Measure and cut

First estimate the tape around the stem and support, add enough for overlap, then cut it with clean scissors.

Place the plant correctly

Turn the nodes and aerial roots towards the moss pole and the leaves outwards in their natural direction.

Wrap without pressure

Wrap the tape around the main stem and support, leaving a little room for the stem to thicken.

Secure and recheck

Overlap the ends for a firm hold. As the plant grows, loosen or move the binding where necessary.

Do not tie it around a leaf stalk, a new growing tip or a very tender shoot

Choose a stable part of the main shoot and do not cover the growth point. If a mark remains or the tissue is pressed, immediately loosen the tape.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to tie a knot?

No. Wrap the tape around the plant and support and overlap the ends to secure. Keep the fit firm but not tight on the stem.

How tightly should I tie the plant?

Tight enough to keep it close to the support, but with a little room for the stem to thicken. The tape should not leave a mark, press on the tissue or restrict new growth.

Is it really reusable?

Yes. Open it carefully and use it again as long as it remains clean, without tears and with good adhesion to the edges.

Can it hold a heavier plant?

The durable material is also suitable for heavier climbing growth. Use more attachment points where necessary and make sure the pole or trellis is stable — the tape does not replace the support anchor.

Can it be used outdoors?

The manufacturer does not declare permanent UV resistance or continuous outdoor exposure. If used outside, check frequently for wear and replace as soon as strength or grip decreases.

How is it different from a plant clip?

The clip has a fixed opening and snaps quickly to a specific thickness. The Plant Tie can be cut to the length you want, adapts to different diameters and is practical when a larger support surface is needed.

Are both colors included?

No. Each option concerns a 2 meter roll in the color green or white that you choose from the product variants.
