A deep form with sculptural rhythm
A diameter of 45 cm combines with a height of 40 cm and a nominal capacity of 17 L. The upright proportions and pronounced ribs give the pot a steady, compact presence.

From an ancient wine vat to a sculptural planter
Monachou brings the monumental feel of an ancient practical vessel to a contemporary planter. Vertical ribs give rhythm to the deep body, while the flattened rim defines a clean silhouette that feels equally natural in courtyards, on terraces and at entrances.
From the earth, in Mycenae
Terraneo makes its pots at its factory in Mycenae, Greece. Different types of earth from the Peloponnese and Crete are cleaned, blended in specific proportions and worked by hand before shaping.
How durability is made
A controlled process combining technical precision with skilled handwork.
Raw materials are sourced from selected quarries in the Peloponnese and Crete.
The clay is worked by hand to remove trapped air before craftspeople fill the moulds.
Once removed from the mould, each pot is finished by hand on a pottery wheel.
Controlled firing keeps the terracotta porous and contributes to its high frost resistance.
