The strong vertical ribs, deep body and broad, flattened rim give Monachou 105 a truly monumental presence. As the largest version in the family, it makes the sculptural silhouette a strong architectural focal point, while natural terracotta keeps its character warm, authentic and timeless.
Dimensions are given as diameter × height.
A diameter of 105 cm combines with a height of 95 cm and a nominal capacity of 285 L. The deep, nearly equal width and height, pronounced ribs and XXL scale create a truly monumental architectural feature.

The material remains breathable after firing, allowing the air exchange that roots need.
The special clay blend and high firing temperature provide resistance to frost and pronounced temperature changes.
Monachou brings the monumental feel of an ancient practical vessel to a contemporary planter. Vertical ribs give rhythm to the deep body, while the flattened rim defines a clean silhouette that feels equally natural in courtyards, on terraces and at entrances.
Terraneo makes its pots at its factory in Mycenae, Greece. Different types of earth from the Peloponnese and Crete are cleaned, blended in specific proportions and worked by hand before shaping.
A controlled process combining technical precision with skilled handwork.
Raw materials are sourced from selected quarries in the Peloponnese and Crete.
The clay is worked by hand to remove trapped air before craftspeople fill the moulds.
Once removed from the mould, each pot is finished by hand on a pottery wheel.
Controlled firing keeps the terracotta porous and contributes to its high frost resistance.
