The Lobivia densispina f. crestata stands out as a collector cactus with dramatic crested growth, forming a wavy sculptural ridge with strong visual presence. Its fine, dense spination wraps the form in texture and depth, turning it into a statement plant that looks especially refined in a well-chosen pot. It performs best in a very bright position, with strictly sparse watering and a completely free-draining substrate.
Keep it in a very bright spot or even in sun, with gradual acclimation if the exposure changes suddenly. Strong light helps the tissue stay compact and keeps the crest form well defined. Indoors, a window with abundant light is the ideal setting.
