Self-watering · Wick System

CUBE Color Triple

A small linear garden that turns three simple planters into a single, elegant composition. The elongated geometry and discreet fabric texture organize herbs, flowering, or small ornamental plants without visual noise, from the kitchen to the balcony.

3 × Ø10–12 Nursery pots

25 cm Maximum plant height

Official outer dimensions (W × D × H): 14 × 40 × 13.5 cm.

LECHUZA Wick System

Three nursery pots, three wicks, one shared water reservoir

Each provided wick passes through a drainage hole at the base of the corresponding nursery pot. The top part comes into contact with the substrate and the bottom reaches the shared water reservoir, so that each plant absorbs moisture without it being removed from its pot.

Use three nursery pots with a diameter of approximately Ø10–12 cm.
Do not fill the outer planter body with soil or LECHUZA-PON.
The water-level indicator monitors the shared 1 L water reservoir.
Plants should ideally have compatible light and moisture requirements.

Three plants, one clean composition

The single elongated form holds three nursery pots and immediately creates an organized small garden.

Shared water reservoir, three wicks

Each plant is connected separately to the water, while a water-level indicator makes it easy to check the shared water reservoir.

On the countertop or balcony

It stands on a flat surface or hangs on a suitable railing with the matching balcony brackets included.

One dimension, three positions

The Triple is specifically designed for three small nursery pots in a row.

Award-winning design

Red Dot Award 2018

The clean linear form, fabric texture, and smart function of the CUBE Color Triple were recognized with the Red Dot Award in 2018.

Balcony brackets included

From the countertop to the balcony

The Triple stands independently on a flat surface, but it also comes with matching balcony brackets for securing to a suitable railing according to the assembly instructions.

Where it fits best

01On a windowsill or kitchen counter, as an organized three-herb garden.
02On a suitable balcony railing, with the included balcony brackets.
03On a shelf, console, or table, with small flowering or ornamental plants.

How to choose the plants

01Measure each nursery pot at the top edge; a diameter of about Ø10–12 cm is needed.
02Make sure there are holes in the base so that the wick passes through properly.
03Combine plants that need similar lighting, since they will share the same location.
04Prefer compatible moisture requirements for more uniform use of the shared reservoir.

The matte texture cleans easily

Wipe dust and splashes with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges so that the textured surface remains even.

Three nursery pots — not direct planting

The CUBE Color Triple is used with the existing nursery pots and the three provided wicks. Do not fill the outer planter body with soil or PON; it functions as a cover pot and shared water reservoir.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions and capacity of the CUBE Color Triple?

The official outer dimensions are 14 × 40 × 13.5 cm (W × D × H), the shared water reservoir has a capacity of 1 L, and the maximum recommended plant height is 25 cm.

Which nursery pots fit?

The CUBE Color Triple accommodates three nursery pots with a diameter of approximately Ø10–12 cm. Measure each nursery pot at the top rim and make sure it has drainage holes at the base.

Do the plants need to be transplanted?

No. The three plants remain in the nursery pots in which they were purchased. Soil or PON is not placed directly into the outer planter body of the CUBE Color Triple.

How do the three wicks work?

Insert one wick from below through a drainage hole in each nursery pot so that it touches the substrate. The lower ends of all three wicks reach the shared water reservoir.

Are the balcony brackets included?

Yes. Matching balcony brackets are included. Place them only on a suitable railing following the official assembly instructions and do not exceed the maximum total load of 8 kg.

When do I refill the reservoir?

Monitor the water-level indicator and the needs of the plants. When the water is depleted, allow only the dry phase that suits the specific species and then refill. Consumption varies with the plants, light, and temperature.

Is it suitable for herbs used in cooking?

Yes. LECHUZA states that the system is suitable for plants used in cooking and has designed it for pre-potted herbs. Care, fertilization, and placement must always be appropriate for each edible plant.
