Crassula exilis subsp. schmidtii (Rule) G.D.Rowley
Synonyms: Crassula schmidtii
Family: Crassulaceae
Pot diameter:12cm, Height:15cm
A miniature, low-growing crassulas with dense rosettes that develop striking pink flowers from the centre.
It flowers easily and is an excellent choice for decorative pots and rock gardens. In areas with a mild climate it can also be used for ground cover. It has a relatively fast growth rate and needs soils with very good drainage.
A drought-resistant plant. Needs regular watering during the growing season, after the soil has dried out from watering. Watering should be reduced in the winter months, as the plant does not tolerate cold and wet conditions. The lower the temperature in winter, the less watering is needed.
