Unusual, pendulous variety of Crassulas that looks great especially in hanging pots. The leaves take on a pink or red colouring when the plant is in a sunny position.
An easy to maintain plant with low maintenance requirements. Requires a very porous substrate for best drainage, ideally acidic. It can be kept in a small pot (6-10cm) for many years without any problems, and it is best if the pot is shallow.
Watering is applied throughout the year. During the summer months the soil should be kept slightly moist, while in winter watering should only be done when the soil is completely dry. Low atmospheric humidity is always desirable.
It needs locations with exposure to sun or bright filtered light to remain compact, but intense hot summer sun should be avoided. Very shady locations should be avoided.
Although it can tolerate low temperatures (-5°C), it should be protected from frost conditions as they can scar and mark the leaves.
