Aloe pepe - Aloe Synonyms: Aloe descoingsii x haworthioides Family: Asphodelaceae Pot diameter:5.5cm.
Dwarf variety of Aloe forming rosettes 5cm in diameter with numerous new plants growing from the base of the plant (offsets). Leaves are deep green, succulent and triangular with soft, silvery hairs at the tips giving the feel of a thorn. The flowers are orange-red and grow to a height of 30cm above the plant. It needs plenty of watering in Summer for proper growth and little in the Winter months.
Origin: Hybrid from John Bleck who crossed two species native to Madagascar, Aloe descoingsii and Aloe haworthioides.
