Although known as Aeonium 'Kiwi', the correct scientific name is Aeonium haworthii 'dream color' (hybrid of as yet unknown origin).
One of the most beautiful, panache varieties with compact rosettes and a maximum height and diameter of 30cm.
Small sized succulent but producing many new plants (offsets). Each one is different from the others.
The leaves are cream, green and yellow with the leaf outline turning pink when the plant is exposed to sunny positions. White flowers appear in Summer.
Unlike other succulents, it grows in Winter and overwinters in Summer. New growth starts from the center of the rosette. As the rosette grows, the outer leaves begin to fall off, revealing the stem that holds the rosette together.
If one does not want this bare shoot, it can be cut off 2-5 cm below the last leaf and planted in a new pot.
It needs more watering than other succulents, as it has a relatively small and shallow root system.
Succulent plant that you can find all over for its pleasant appearance, as well as for its extreme resilience.
It has a woody and slender stem, which branches off abundantly, with wonderful compact rosettes of a beautiful light green, tending to yellow or bluish, sometimes with a thin red line along the edges.
The leaves are fleshy and pointed, compact and diamond-like in shape. Along the edges of the foliage it is not uncommon to find microscopic curved hairs that often distinguish a large part of the genus Aeonium.
In midsummer the charm of this succulent is amplified by long branches of small whitish or very delicate yellow flowers.
