Η ποικιλία ‘Aoyagi’  είναι μια πανέμορφη ποικιλία Ιαπωνικού Άτσερ.

Τα φύλλα του εκπτύσσονται την Άνοιξη σε λάιμ-πράσινους χρωματισμούς, ωριμάζουν σε ανοικτό πράσινο το Καλοκαίρι και γίνονται κίτρινα το Φθινόπωρο.

Ακόμα και το Χειμώνα, το πράσινο χρώμα του βλαστού προσδίδει έξτρα καλλωπιστική αξία.

Ιδανική ποικιλία για μικρούς κήπους και διακοσμητικές γλάστρες.

Φροντίδα

Όπως όλα τα Acer, χρειάζεται το χώμα του να είναι συνεχώς υγρό, με καλή αποστράγγιση, ουδέτερο προς όξινο. Προτιμά θέσεις με σκιά αλλά τους καλύτερους χρωματισμούς τους παίρνει σε θέσεις με ήλιο. Αγαπά τις θέσεις με υψηλή ατμοσφαιρική υγρασία αλλά δεν είναι απαραίτητο για τη σωστή και υγιή ανάπτυξη του.

Japanese maple (Acer) is the ‘crème de la crème’ of every garden. A magical plant that does not need pruning and that is left to form its own special shape on its own.

The ‘Aoyagi’ is a beautiful, yet understated, Japanese Maple cultivar. 

The leaves emerge a fresh lime green in the spring, changing to a light green for the summer months and then a lovely butter yellow in the autumn. 

Even in winter, the fresh green is evident in the bark and in the right spot, this delicate tree seems almost to glow. 

Site in around half a day of sun to get the best out of this tree and if possible, plant in front of a dark background to truly appreciate its colouring.  It makes a pretty, small tree with an upright habit and will be perfectly happy in the ground or in a container.





Care
Like all Acer, the soil needs to be constantly moist, well drained, neutral to acidic. Prefers places with shade but gets the best colors in places with sun. It loves places with high atmospheric humidity but it is not necessary for its proper and healthy development.
