One of the hardiest houseplants, Zamia can be placed from a completely dark place to the brightest. It has minimal care requirements, and needs very sparse watering.
Care
Light: Happy whether placed in a completely dark place or in a very bright place. But it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Watering: Very drought resistant, water at infrequent intervals. Overwatering is probably the only cause that can dry it out. Temperature: Room temperature (15-24°C) but can tolerate up to 8°C. Properties: Effective in purifying the atmosphere from harmful substances, absorbing substances such as formaldehyde, benzene and carbon monoxide. Lubrication: A thin dose of liquid fertilizer during the growing season. Dimensions: Maximum height 1m. Maximum height 1.1 cm; maximum height 1.1 m. Origin: South Africa.
