The Substrate Scoop is designed for practical handling of loose substrate during potting and repotting. It allows you to work gradually, without having to pour a large amount of mixture at once.

You get small, manageable amounts from the bag or container.
You direct the mixture into the spaces around the root ball.
You fill substrate with better control even in tighter spots.

Usage

Four steps to a neater repotting

Work in small amounts so that the substrate is gradually distributed around the root ball.

01Add the base

Scoop the first layer of substrate into the new pot.

02Place the plant

Keep the root ball in the right place and at the right height.

03Fill around the root ball

Add the mixture little by little in the spaces around the roots.

04Finish evenly

Fill in where needed, without pressing the tool onto the roots.

Useful detail: the scoop helps to transport and place the substrate. The right pot, the right mix and careful handling of the root ball remain just as important.
