Test the empty sheath first, then a locked tool while keeping it away from the body.

- 03Step 3: Walk a few steps and check that it does not slide, invert or restrict movement.
02Clean, locked tool only
Soil, sap and moisture inside the sheath accelerate wear and can conceal a sharp edge.
- 01Check 1: Never insert an open or wet tool and never place a hand inside without looking.
- 02Check 2: Remove soil, wipe with a damp cloth and allow the empty sheath to dry completely.
