Fiery geometry in a clean, compact form 🔥
Family: Crassulaceae • Pot diameter: 10.5 cm
Crisp rosettes with leaves that develop vivid orange-red edging in strong light. Tough, adaptable, and striking—small footprint, big visual impact.
Full sun or a very bright position; acclimate gradually in spring/summer. Use a succulent mix with high drainage (50–70% mineral components such as pumice/perlite). Water deeply but infrequently—again only when the mix is fully dry.
Mexico (species); the Firestorm™ selection is grown for vivid orange edging and a compact, dense habit.

🛡️ Waxy cuticle reduces water loss.
🎨 Orange tones come from carotenoids under high light stress.
✂️ Minimal pruning; clean older leaves in spring.
Provide 4–6 hours of direct sun (morning is ideal), keep the mix very porous, and water infrequently—only after full drying.
Only when the mix is completely dry. Use the “soak & dry” method. In winter, water far less.
It’s best kept above about 5 °C. Protect from frost and long wet periods; keep the mix dry in winter.
Stem or leaf cuttings. Let the cut end callus for 1–2 days, then place into a mineral, fast-draining mix.
