Where to place it
By an east- or north-facing window, or in light filtered by a curtain. Water when the top 2–3 cm dry out; never keep the growing medium constantly damp. Use an airy aroid mix with perlite/bark and good drainage. Avoid draughts and extreme heat.
Cultivar origin
A tropical hemiepiphyte from Southeast Asia. ‘Argyraeus’ is a selection with stable silver speckling, smaller oval leaves and often a thin silver margin. Tissue culture helped distribute uniform plants.
1) Growing medium & pot: An airy aroid mix (leaf mould + perlite + bark). Always provide drainage holes.
2) Watering: When the top 2–3 cm dry out · empty the cachepot.
3) Light: Plenty of bright indirect light throughout the day. Protect from midday sun.

How do I keep the silver colouring vivid?
Provide plenty of bright indirect light. Clean the leaves gently; avoid low light and midday sun.
Should it trail or climb?
Either. On a moss pole, the leaves tend to grow larger and the stem becomes fuller.
