Rubus idaeus 'twotimer sugana yellow'® - Raspberry yellow
Pot diameter:13cm, Height:45cm
The all-rounder in yellow
Unique variety that produces fruit twice in the same year!
The 'Rubus Idaeus Twotimer Sugana Yellow' is the only yellow raspberry that produces fruit twice a year. A real asset to your garden! The raspberries are deliciously sweet and have a beautiful yellow colour. Yellow raspberries taste a bit softer and sweeter than the well-known pink raspberries. They are very healthy, full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. The shrub grows upright and can reach a height of about 200 cm. This variety is suitable for the smaller gardens, even on the balcony.
In June the first harvest is on the old branches of the shrub, in autumn the second harvest on the new branches. The raspberry is easy to maintain and can survive in all climates. The first year you do not need to prune the bush. After that you can prune back the branches in early spring. The plant has a stable growth and a good resistance against diseases. Birds also love raspberries, so protect the bush by putting up a net, for example.
