Water me, sun me, and I’ll feed you 🍓
Rubus idaeaus 'Aroma Queen'® delivers deep-red berries with exceptional aroma, high yields, and a long harvest period. A primocane variety (fruits on first-year canes) with upright, healthy growth and berries that detach easily when ripe.
Full sun for the most aromatic berries. Use a deep pot with rich, draining soil and a permanent mulch layer to keep the root zone cool. Stakes or wires help support upright canes and make harvesting easier.
Rubus idaeaus is native to temperate Europe and Asia, cultivated for centuries for its aromatic red berries. Naturally grows in cool, organic-rich soils at forest edges.
The 'Aroma Queen'® cultivar was selected for gourmet traits: deep red color, wild-raspberry aroma, high yield, and extended harvest. Being primocane, it fruits on first-year canes, simplifying pruning significantly.
