Rosa ‘Intereybabews’ Sweet Babylon Eyes® is the softest-coloured Babylon Eyes, yet its centre keeps all the drama. Open single to semi-double flowers move from pale pink into apricot around a dark purple-red eye, giving the impression of a miniature hibiscus on a rose. Its compact glossy crown repeats the display from late spring into autumn, delivering romantic colour without sugary uniformity.

Give it a low pot viewed from above or the front of a border, framed by small blue flowers and clean copper-toned textures.

‘Intereybabews’ was bred by Interplant Roses in the Netherlands and introduced in 2016 as Sweet Babylon Eyes®, within the breeder’s Babylon Eyes collection of Rosa persica hybrids.

The selection retained a pastel pink-apricot corolla with a dark eye, compact growth and repeat flowering. In 2017 it was recognised as the most promising new variety at Barcelona’s 17th International New Rose Competition; the exact cross has not been published.
