Blackcurrant variety of fast and compact growth. Produces tasty, medium sized fruits which are harvested from the end of July. Self-pollinating variety with high disease resistance. Blackcurrant is the largest source of vitamin C (up to 182mg per 100g of fruit) and to a lesser extent, vitamin B, P,E, provitamin A, potassium and iron. In addition to vitamins, it is particularly rich in fibre, containing over 5.5g per 100g of berries. Gooseberries are also rich in polyphenols, plant substances known for their antioxidant action, as they have the ability to capture free radicals that damage the body's tissues. Eating the fruit prevents the formation of toxic substances in the body.

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.
The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
