LECHUZA Classic System · LS liner

removable plant liner with retractable perimeter handle

Plant in the LS plant liner, which lifts from the retractable perimeter handle and is repositioned inside the outer planter body. This way you can change the planting, care for the roots, or wash the leaves without moving the entire planter. After the initial rooting period, the Classic System feeds the roots from the reservoir, and the indicator clearly shows the MIN and MAX levels.

The retractable perimeter handle discreetly sinks when not in use.
The plant liner is removed for plant replacement, repotting, root pruning, or easier cleaning.
For the first few weeks, water from above and then use the water reservoir with the MIN/MAX indicator.
In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain away.

From planting to self-watering in four steps

The correct start helps the roots fully utilize the Classic System.

01 · Prepare the LS plant liner

Place the system components according to the instructions and spread the provided LECHUZA-PON at the base.

02 · Plant in the plant liner

Add substrate suitable for the plant, leaving the filling shaft and the water-level water-level indicator clear.

03 · Water from above

In the first weeks, water the substrate from above so that the roots grow toward the moisture zone.

04 · Use the water reservoir

When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and monitor the MIN and MAX indicators.

Surface care

The premium surface requires gentle cleaning

For dust and everyday marks, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong cleaning agents, so that the glossy or metallic surface remains uniform.

Before using it outdoors

In an uncovered area, remove the drainage plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain. For indoor use, the plug must remain properly closed. Always place the planted QUADRO on a stable, flat surface that can support the total weight.

What does the All-in-One Set include?

It includes the QUADRO Premium LS outer planter body, the removable plant liner with a retractable perimeter handle, the Classic System equipment with filling shaft and water-level indicator, as well as LECHUZA-PON for the base layer. The plant and additional substrate are not included.

How is the plant liner removed?

Raise the retractable perimeter handle and lift the plant liner vertically out of the outer planter body. This makes plant replacement, repotting, root pruning and leaf rinsing easier.

Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?

For the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then you can transition to reservoir watering: fill it about halfway and observe if the level drops in the following days. When the plant starts drawing water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator normally.

When do I refill the reservoir?

When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plant and then refill up to MAX. The duration depends on the species, location, temperature, and wind. On very hot days, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.

Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?

Yes. The body is resistant to UV exposure and weather conditions. In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can drain away.

Which sizes fit the wheeled base?

The concealed wheeled base is available for QUADRO Premium LS 43 and 50. Choose the corresponding base size for your planter.

We take care of the packaging!

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
