Sowing depth, temperature, light and moisture should always be adapted to the specific seed or cutting.

It is not a permanent growing mix for every plant

Once roots are established, repot promptly into a pot and substrate suited to the next stage of growth.

How to use

Fill lightly, moisten evenly and monitor

Use the mix directly in seed trays, plugs or propagation domes. Avoid firm compaction so the fine-grade perlite can continue to create air channels.

01Fill the container

Add the mix loosely to the cells or pots and level the surface gently without pressing it down firmly.

02Position the plant material

Sow the seed or place the cutting at the depth and orientation required by the particular species.

03Moisten with control

Moisten the mix evenly and allow excess water to drain through the drainage holes.

04Monitor and adjust

Maintain the appropriate moisture level for the species and gradually increase airflow as the new growth becomes established.

Moist does not mean permanently saturated

Watering frequency changes with temperature, airflow, container and growth stage. In a closed propagation dome, also monitor condensation and do not leave the mix sitting continuously in standing water.
