Philodendron pastazanum is native to the rainforests of Ecuador and Peru. It was first recorded in Ecuador’s Pastaza province, which inspired its name.
Thanks to its giant heart-shaped leaves and horizontal growth, it is now cultivated worldwide as a collector’s plant. Its adaptability to interiors makes it a favorite among aroid lovers.
