Is the plant already established in its pot, with no need to repot simply to add fertiliser? Osmocote TopDress FT is applied to the surface of the growing medium and provides controlled nutrition for 4–5 months. Its Fusion Technology is moisture-activated and helps the granules stay in the application area. This makes it easy to renew base nutrition for ornamentals, shrubs and trees in containers with a measured dose, without disturbing the roots or carrying out another repotting.

Composition & analysis

High-nitrogen formulation made specifically for topdressing

The 22-5-6 analysis combines nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and selected trace elements.

The product base

NPK 22-5-6 + 2% MgO and trace elements, with Fusion Technology for application on the growing-medium surface.

Nitrogen forms: Total N 22.0% · nitrate 4.8% · ammoniacal 5.9% · urea 11.3%.
Phosphorus & potassium: P₂O₅ 5.0% (3.7% water-soluble) · K₂O 6.0% (6.0% water-soluble).
Magnesium: MgO 2.0%, of which 1.0% is water-soluble.
Declared trace elements: Cu 0.05% · Fe 0.8% · Mn 0.3% · Zn 0.1%.

Use the selected rate for the first 10 L, then add 1 g for every additional litre.

0450 L container example

At 3 g/L: 30 g for the first 10 L + 40 g for the remainder = 70 g.

Topdress means surface application only

Do not mix it into the growing medium or apply it as a concentrated dose in the planting hole. With drip irrigation, place it under the drippers. It is not suitable for capillary-mat or ebb-and-flow systems. Start at the lower rate for sensitive plants.
