NAVIO Color

The NAVIO Color provides space for an entire small arrangement without requiring much depth. The low oval shape, gently curved sides, and silky matte surface create a clean, modern planter that looks complete from every angle. It naturally fits on narrow windowsills, sideboards, tables, and counters, while the same minimalist design continues outdoors.

LECHUZA Aqua System · without removable insert

The separating base creates the reservoir within the body itself

The NAVIO is planted directly in its outer body. The Aqua System base sits low inside the planter, separating the planting area from the water reservoir and supporting the LECHUZA-PON layer. After the initial rooting period, add water through the filling shaft and use the MIN/MAX indicator to check the available water level.

There is no separate removable plant liner; soil, roots, and PON remain inside the NAVIO.
The provided LECHUZA-PON is used as an irrigation layer above the separating base.
For about 12 weeks, water from above and then switch to the reservoir, provided the plant has rooted.
In an uncovered outdoor space, remove the bottom plug so that excess rainwater can drain out.

The oval layout makes use of windowsills, sideboards and tables where a deeper round planter would be impractical.

The elongated opening allows a central plant or several small plants with similar light, water, and substrate requirements.

The recyclable plastic body is manufactured in Germany and is resistant to breakage, UV, and frost. The removable cap allows proper rainwater management.

From assembly to autonomy, in four steps

The Aqua System base goes in first and the water reservoir is used after the roots develop.

01 · Assemble the system

Place the separating base at the bottom and properly fit the filling shaft with the water-level indicator.

02 · Add PON and plant

Cover the base with the supplied LECHUZA-PON, place the plant, and fill with the appropriate substrate.

03 · Water from above

For about 12 weeks, water the substrate from above so that the roots reach the moisture zone.

04 · Switch to reservoir watering

When the plant starts to draw water, fill from the filling shaft to MAX and follow the correct dry phase at MIN.

The identity of NAVIO

Oval line without a 'front' side

The rounded edges and the transition from the narrow base to the open top give the NAVIO a calm, almost sculptural character. The clean surface looks balanced from every angle, which is why it fits equally well on a windowsill, an island, or a central table.

Important construction difference

It does not have a removable plant liner

The separating base, the PON, the substrate, and the roots remain inside the body of the NAVIO. To change the planting, empty the planter; there is no separate inner insert like in other LECHUZA series.

Where each size fits

10Narrow windowsill, small sideboard, shelf, or table, when the available depth is at least 14 cm.
20Deeper windowsill, large console, bench or garden table, for a fuller horizontal composition.

How to choose the right setup

01First measure the available length and depth of the placement surface.
02Compare the root ball with the space and planting depth of the corresponding size.
03Maintain a maximum plant height of 20 cm for NAVIO 10 and 30 cm for NAVIO 20.
04For composition, combine only plants with similar light, water, and substrate requirements.

Remove dust and residues with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive sponges, hard brushes, and strong cleaners that may mark the silky matte surface.

For proper placement

Stable surface and proper lighting

Place the NAVIO on a level surface that can support the total weight of the fully planted planter, and choose a location with suitable light. On furniture or an indoor windowsill, keep the bottom plug securely closed.

The position of the plug changes depending on the space

In an indoor or covered area, the lower cap remains properly closed. In an uncovered outdoor space, you remove it so that the overflow can remove the excess rainwater without emptying the functional water reservoir.

Frequently asked questions

Are 10 and 20 the dimensions of the NAVIO Color?

No. They are size names. The NAVIO 10 has actual outer dimensions of 29 × 14 × 13.5 cm, while the NAVIO 20 has dimensions of 39 × 19 × 18.3 cm.

What does the All-in-One Set include?

Includes the body NAVIO Color with bottom drainage plug, the Aqua System separation base, the filling shaft with MIN/MAX water-level indicator, and LECHUZA-PON for the watering layer. The plant and additional substrate are not included.

Does it have a removable plant liner?

When do I refill the reservoir?

When the indicator reaches MIN, you leave an appropriate dry phase for the plant and then fill up to MAX. Its duration depends on the species, light, temperature, and wind, so you monitor both the indicator and the substrate together.

Can the NAVIO Color remain outdoors in the rain?

Yes. The body is weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and frost-resistant. In an uncovered outdoor area, remove the bottom plug so that the overflow can drain the excess rainwater.

How do I choose between the NAVIO 10 and the NAVIO 20?

We take care of the packaging!

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
