Moss Poles – Front Opening combine a clear rear body with removable front access, making it easier to fill, inspect and work with sphagnum while the plant develops vertically. Nodes and aerial roots face the opening so they remain close to the moist rooting material.

How it works

Front access changes how the pole is filled and maintained

Assemble the body and front parts in the specified order.
Keep nodes and aerial roots facing the front access.
Use only compatible Front Opening extensions and accessories.

Separate product line

Front Opening poles are not interchangeable with Classic moss poles or Classic accessories.

The removable front gives access to sphagnum while the clear rear body remains the structural support.

Fill and close the front

Add prepared sphagnum without excessive compression.

Position and attach the plant

Anchor in the pot and face nodes towards the opening.

Keep the pot section appropriate

The section buried in the pot should be stabilised with the potting medium rather than kept permanently saturated with moss.
