Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus' is a striking ornamental grass with upright, architectural growth and green foliage marked by distinctive horizontal yellow bands. Its overall look is clean, rhythmic and very strong in the garden, especially when planted in repetition or used as a vertical element among perennial plants. In autumn, its plumes add soft, airy height, while the foliage takes on warmer tones before drying decoratively through winter. Where to place it
