LECHUZA Classic System · Perimeter handle

The plant liner rises entirely

The plant remains inside the removable plant liner. The patented perimeter handle lifts to remove the plant liner vertically and sinks back into the rim when not in use. This way, plant replacement, root care, and relocation can be done without lifting the entire outer planter body.

The perimeter handle distributes the weight of the planted plant liner evenly.
LECHUZA-PON forms the base layer over the reservoir.
The water-level indicator shows the MIN and MAX markings.
In outdoor areas, the drain outlets are configured to carry away excess rainwater.

From planting to self-watering in four steps

The Classic System starts operating once the roots reach the moisture zone.

01 · Place the PON

Cover the separator base with the included LECHUZA-PON.

02 · Complete the planting

Place the plant and fill with suitable substrate, leaving the filling shaft and water-level indicator clear.

03 · Water from above

During the first weeks, water the substrate from above so the roots grow toward the moisture zone.

04 · Use the water reservoir

When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and monitor the MIN and MAX indicators.

Remove dust and fingerprints with a soft, damp microfiber cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive sponges, hard brushes, and strong cleaners.

Before lifting the plant liner, make sure the handle is fully raised, then lift vertically. For large or heavy plants, work with a second person.

Before using it outdoors

Remove the overflow screws from the plant liner and outer planter body so the overflow functions correctly and excess rainwater can drain away. Indoors, keep the screws correctly positioned and tightened. Always place the planted RONDO on a stable, level surface protected from strong wind.

Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?

For the first few weeks, water from above until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then fill the reservoir to about half and monitor if the level drops. When the plant begins to take up water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator as usual.

When do I refill the reservoir?

When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plant and then fill up to MAX. Its duration depends on the type, location, and season. During a heatwave, check the indicator and the substrate moisture daily.

Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
