The soft, gently tapered silhouette of RONDO Premium adds height to the plant and elegance to the space without visually heavy geometry. Its rounded form looks complete from every angle, while the high-gloss or metallic finish turns even a simple green plant into a refined architectural feature for homes, entrances, hotels and professional spaces.
The exact dimensions and capacities of each size are listed in detail below.
LECHUZA Classic System · Perimeter handle
The plant liner rises entirely
The plant remains inside the removable plant liner. The patented perimeter handle lifts to remove the plant liner vertically and sinks back into the rim when not in use. This way, plant replacement, root care, and relocation can be done without lifting the entire outer planter body.
The perimeter handle distributes the weight of the planted plant liner evenly.
LECHUZA-PON forms the base layer over the reservoir.
The water-level indicator shows the MIN and MAX markings.
In outdoor areas, the drain outlets are configured to carry away excess rainwater.
Cross-section of RONDO Premium · the perimeter handle is recessed into the rim of the removable plant liner.

From planting to self-watering in four steps
The Classic System starts operating once the roots reach the moisture zone.
01 · Place the PON
Cover the separator base with the included LECHUZA-PON.
02 · Complete the planting
Place the plant and fill with suitable substrate, leaving the filling shaft and water-level indicator clear.
03 · Water from above
During the first weeks, water the substrate from above so the roots grow toward the moisture zone.
04 · Use the water reservoir
When the plant starts to draw water, fill through the filling shaft and monitor the MIN and MAX indicators.
The identity of RONDO
One column without a “back” side
The circular base and slight taper keep the composition visually calm and elegant from every angle. It fits particularly well in corridors, entrances, and open spaces where the planter can be viewed from every angle.
For hot summer weather
The water reservoir helps — control remains necessary
Consumption varies with the plant, the sun, the temperature, and the wind. In a heatwave or exposed location, check the indicator and substrate moisture daily.
Where each size fits
32Living room, entrance, office, shop, or protected balcony, for plants up to 60 cm.
40Lobby, hotel, spacious residence, professional space or large terrace, for plants up to 100 cm.
How to choose the right setup
01Measure the root ball and compare it with the diameter and depth of the plant liner.
02Do not exceed the official maximum plant height, because it affects the center of gravity.
03Place the planted RONDO on a stable, level floor protected from strong wind.
04Choose a finish based on the light and the materials of the space, not just the color of the plant.

Rises from the entire perimeter
Before lifting the plant liner, make sure the handle is fully raised, then lift vertically. For large or heavy plants, work with a second person.
!
Before using it outdoors
Remove the overflow screws from the plant liner and outer planter body so the overflow functions correctly and excess rainwater can drain away. Indoors, keep the screws correctly positioned and tightened. Always place the planted RONDO on a stable, level surface protected from strong wind.
Frequently asked questions
Which RONDO Premium sizes are available on this page?
Greenleaf offers RONDO Premium 32 and 40. The outer dimensions are Ø32.5 × 56.5 cm and Ø40 × 75 cm, while the water reservoirs have a capacity of 4 L and 5.6 L, respectively.
What does the All-in-One Set include?
Includes the RONDO Premium outer planter body, the removable plant liner with recessed perimeter handle, the Classic System equipment with bottom separator, filling shaft, and water-level indicator, as well as LECHUZA-PON for the base layer. The plant and additional substrate are not included.
What exactly is removable in RONDO Premium?
The plant liner in which the plant is located is removed, not the outer planter body. The perimeter handle lifts from the rim and allows the plant liner to be lifted vertically for plant replacement, care, or relocation.
Do I fill the reservoir immediately after planting?
For the first few weeks, water from above until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then fill the reservoir to about half and monitor if the level drops. When the plant begins to take up water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator as usual.
When do I refill the reservoir?
When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plant and then fill up to MAX. Its duration depends on the type, location, and season. During a heatwave, check the indicator and the substrate moisture daily.
Is it suitable for outdoor use and rain?
Yes, with proper preparation. Outdoors, remove the overflow screws from the plant liner and outer planter body so the overflow can operate and excess water can drain away. Place the planter on a stable, level surface protected from strong wind.
What is the maximum plant height for each size?
LECHUZA specifies a maximum plant height of 60 cm for RONDO 32 and 100 cm for RONDO 40. Height and weight distribution affect the centre of gravity, so check the stability of the completed planted arrangement regularly.
