The MINI-CUBI Premium transforms the clean square geometry into a sleek, slender silhouette. The subtly narrower base, straight edges, and high-gloss or metallic finish give the small plant an architectural presence, like a complete decorative object.

LECHUZA Wick System · complete planting in PON
The plant is transplanted into the clear plant liner — the wick feeds the PON
The MINI-CUBI does not function as a simple cover pot for the plant's original pot. The plant is transplanted into the clear plant liner with LECHUZA-PON. The wick transfers moisture from the reservoir to the mineral substrate, while the water-level indicator and the filling channel make the water level easy to check.
The clear plant liner is removed entirely along with the plant for inspection and care of the roots.
Plant fully in the plant liner with LECHUZA-PON; do not fill the outer planter body with substrate.
The water-level indicator shows the amount of water between the MIN and MAX points.
There is no overflow valve, so use is recommended indoors.
MINI-CUBI Premium schematic section · the clear plant liner lifts together with the plant, while the water reservoir remains inside the outer planter body.

01
Slim presence, clean lines
The square top and subtly narrower base create height without bulk, so the planter fits even in very small spaces.
02
The PON is fed by a wick
Capillary action transfers moisture from the water reservoir to the mineral substrate, and the roots take up water as needed.
03
The roots are easily checked
The clear plant liner is removed along with the plant, allowing visual inspection of growth, root care, and easy cleaning.
A compact size for small plants
Check the root ball and the final height of the plant before transplanting.

Proper planting in four steps
The MINI-CUBI is designed for full planting in the clear plant liner with LECHUZA-PON.
01 · Assemble the indicator
Snap the transparent top part onto the body of the water-level indicator that is already inside the plant liner.
02 · Add the PON
Initially fill the plant liner with part of the LECHUZA-PON, leaving enough space for the root ball.
03 · Transplant
Remove the plant from its original pot, gently remove the loose soil, and fill in around the roots with PON.
04 · Start watering
Water slowly from the top so that the PON gets evenly moistened. Then use the reservoir and the indicator according to the plant's needs.
Compact premium design
Adds height without taking up space
The MINI-CUBI opens slightly towards the square top and keeps its base narrow. This way it looks tall and architectural, while occupying an area smaller than a notebook.
An alternative to a bouquet
A gift that keeps growing
Its compact premium form suits small green or flowering indoor plants, creating a complete gift with longevity and a practical care system.
Where it fits
01Desk or bedside table, as a small green detail that does not crowd the available space.
02Shelf, bookshelf, or narrow side table, alone or in a small arrangement.
03Reception desk, sideboard, or console, in repeated colors for a more striking effect.
04Bright indoor windowsill, provided that the light suits the chosen plant.
How to choose the right plant
01The root ball must fit into a plant liner approximately 8.5 × 8.5 cm with a depth of 10 cm.
02Prefer a final plant height of up to about 20 cm for proper proportions and stability.
03Select a type suitable for full planting in LECHUZA-PON mineral substrate.
04Adjust the level and dry phase to the actual needs of the specific plant.

Premium care
Gentle cleaning for a clean finish
Remove dust and fingerprints with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong cleaners that may dull the surface.
Proper watering cycle
MIN does not mean immediate filling
When the indicator reaches MIN, the dry phase that the specific plant needs follows. Its duration depends on the species, the light, and the temperature, so the indicator is used together with the actual needs of the plant.

For indoor use only
The MINI-CUBI Premium does not have an overflow valve for excess rainwater, and LECHUZA recommends it for indoor use. Do not place it in an uncovered outdoor area where it can fill with rain.
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions and capacities of the MINI-CUBI Premium?
The MINI-CUBI Premium has outer dimensions of 9.5 × 9.5 × 18.5 cm, a water reservoir of 0.5 L, and a plant volume of 0.8 L. The clear removable plant liner is approximately 8.5 × 8.5 cm, the planting depth is 10 cm, and the suggested maximum plant height is 20 cm.
What does the All-in-One Set include?
It includes the MINI-CUBI Premium outer planter body, the clear removable plant liner, the wick self-watering system, the water-level indicator and filling channel, as well as LECHUZA-PON in an amount sufficient for full planting. The plant is not included.
How does the wick self-watering system work?
The integrated wick connects the LECHUZA-PON of the plant liner with the water reservoir and transfers moisture to the roots through capillary action. The water-level indicator shows the amount of water between MIN and MAX.
Does the plant stay in its original pot?
No. In the MINI-CUBI Premium the plant is removed from its original pot and planted directly into the clear removable plant liner with LECHUZA-PON. The outer planter body is not filled with substrate.
How and when do I fill the water reservoir?
After planting, initially water slowly from above so that the PON gets evenly wet. Then fill the water reservoir from the filling channel up to MAX. When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for the plant and then fill again.
Can the MINI-CUBI Premium stay outdoors?
The MINI-CUBI Premium does not have an overflow valve for excess rainwater, and LECHUZA recommends it for indoor use. It should not be placed in an uncovered outdoor area where it can fill with rain.
What is the difference between MINI-CUBI and MAXI-CUBI?
The MINI-CUBI is the smallest model, with dimensions 9.5 × 9.5 × 18.5 cm, a 0.5 L water reservoir, a plant volume of 0.8 L, and a recommended maximum plant height of 20 cm. The larger MAXI-CUBI has dimensions 14 × 14 × 26 cm, a 1 L water reservoir, a plant volume of 1.5 L, and a recommended maximum plant height of 30 cm.
