The CANTO Stone 30 high transforms the strict geometry of the series into an elegant columnar planter, with a textured surface reminiscent of raw natural stone. With a height of 56 cm, it provides vertical emphasis and showcases the plant in a stronger visual position, without requiring a large footprint on the floor. It fits next to an entrance, sofa, or balcony door, alone or in a symmetrical pair, indoors or outdoors. The removable plant liner with integrated handles makes planting and moving easy, while the authentic LECHUZA self-watering system keeps care more controlled.
plant liner approx. 25 × 25 cm · maximum plant height 60 cm.
The provided LECHUZA-PON is placed over the separating base and creates the zone that delivers moisture to the roots. Once the initial rooting period is completed, the reservoir is filled through the special filling shaft, and the water-level indicator shows when the water reaches MAX or MIN.
The built-in handles allow you to plant, clean, or carry the arrangement without lifting the outer planter body.
The 3 L water reservoir and water-level indicator reduce watering guesswork and clearly show when a check is needed.
The CANTO Stone 30 high belongs to the award-winning CANTO Stone 30/40 family, combining clean lines and a textured stone look in a durable, lightweight body.
The correct start helps the roots fully utilize the Classic System.
Place the Classic System components and the provided LECHUZA-PON as a base layer in the removable plant liner.
Add substrate suitable for the plant, leaving the filling shaft and the water-level indicator free.
Lower the planted plant liner into the CANTO and place the planter on a stable, level surface.
Initially, you water from the top. When the roots reach the moisture zone, you use the water reservoir and the MIN/MAX indicator.
The embossed surface gives the planter a natural, architectural character, but its body remains light, resistant to breakage, and suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The same liner dimension is also used in the CANTO Stone 30 low, so that the planting can be transferred between the two forms.
The water reservoir reduces the watering frequency, but consumption varies according to the type of plant, the sun, and the wind. In a heatwave or in a very exposed location, check the indicator and the substrate moisture daily.
The basic components of the Classic System are inside the package.
Not included the plant and the additional substrate needed to complete the planting.
The CANTO Stone 30 high and the CANTO Stone 30 low use a plant liner of the same size.
The removable plant liner of the tall CANTO Stone 30 can be transferred to the low cube without replanting — and vice versa.
The high gives vertical emphasis, while the low functions like a solid cubic base. Together they create a unified composition with alternating levels.
The availability of each color is shown in the product options.
In an uncovered spot, remove the drain plug from the bottom so that excess rainwater can be drained. For indoor use, the cap must remain properly closed. Always place the planted CANTO on a stable, flat surface that can support the total weight.
Includes the CANTO Stone 30 high outer planter body, the removable plant liner with integrated handles, the Classic System equipment with water-level indicator, and LECHUZA-PON for the base layer. The plant and extra substrate are not included.
For the first few weeks, water from above, until the roots reach the moisture zone. Then you can transition to reservoir watering: fill it about halfway and observe if the level drops in the following days. When the plant starts drawing water, use the filling shaft and the MAX indicator normally.
When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the appropriate dry phase for your plants and then fill up to MAX. Its duration depends on the type, location, temperature, and wind. On very hot days, check the indicator and the substrate moisture daily.
Yes. The body is resistant to UV exposure and weather conditions. In uncovered outdoor areas, remove the drainage plug so that excess rainwater can escape.
Yes. The removable plant liner has built-in handles, allowing it to be planted, cleaned and moved separately from the outer planter body.
LECHUZA specifies a maximum plant height of 60 cm for the CANTO Stone 30 high. Choose a plant with a root system suitable for a plant liner approximately 25 × 25 cm and a planting depth of 20 cm.
The CANTO Stone 30 and 40 editions, both in cubic and columnar form, were awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2017.
