The clean, authentic solution that raises the BALCONERA onto the railing or the wall without disrupting its line. The CLASSIC balcony brackets are hidden behind the planter and allow precise leveling, so that the result looks integrated into the balcony — not hastily hung.

The soft fabric straps embrace round or angular handrails without scratching the surface. The red safety lock secures the strap, while the adjustment screw levels the planter.

The support is hidden behind the BALCONERA, so that the planter and the planting remain the visual focus.

Scratch-free

The soft fabric straps come into contact with the handrail without rigid metal clamps.

Correct leveling

The adjustment screws compensate for the position of the handrail and help the BALCONERA remain level.

Placement in four essential steps

Always follow the entire official LECHUZA instruction that comes with the product.

01 · Secure the balcony brackets

Screw both balcony brackets into the BALCONERA with the provided screws and a simple screwdriver.

02 · Pass the straps

Hold the handrail and guide each strap under the locking mechanism.

03 · Lock and check

Tighten the strap, press the red safety lock until the closed-padlock symbol is visible, and pull down for testing.

04 · Level it

Hang the BALCONERA, adjust the rear screws at a right angle to the railing, and check the stability with gentle pressure.

Two installation methods

The same pair is used on a suitable railing or load-bearing wall, with a different mounting method.

On railing

For a round or angled railing up to 32 cm in circumference. The strap must lay flat across the entire surface without being point-loaded on sharp edges.

Included: the two soft straps in the same color as the balcony brackets.

On wall

The straps can be removed and the balcony brackets are fixed directly to a suitable, sturdy wall. The wall’s load-bearing capacity must be checked before hanging the BALCONERA.

Not included: Screws and wall plugs for wall mounting; chosen according to the wall material.

The limit concerns everything

25 kg total — not per balcony bracket

The total weight includes the BALCONERA, plant liners, substrate, plants, and all the water in the water reservoir. The permissible strength of the railing or wall must also be sufficient.

The correct detail

The closed padlock must be visible

The red safety lock must press firmly against the strap and sit flush with the guide. If the closed lock symbol is not visible, the strap is not considered secured.

The straps follow the color of the balcony brackets. Choose the shade that best matches the railing and the BALCONERA.

BALCONERA balcony bracket extension

It adds vertical support when the railing has large gaps between the bars and there is a risk that the lower part of the planter is not properly supported. It clicks into the CLASSIC balcony brackets and is sold separately.

It is not a longer strap and does not increase the maximum handrail circumference of 32 cm.

The annual inspection is part of safe use

Check every year that the screws remain tight and that the straps and seams do not show wear, cracks, or fraying. Do not use a worn strap.

LECHUZA specifies the replacement of the straps no later than after 5 years of use, regardless of their visible condition.

Can they be fixed to a wall?

Yes. For wall-mounted installation, the straps are removed and screws and anchors suitable for the material and strength of the wall are used. Wall-mounting materials are not included and, if there is any doubt, LECHUZA recommends installation by a professional.

What is the balcony bracket extension used for?

The optional extension adds vertical support to railings with large gaps between the bars. It is not a longer strap, it is not used on its own, and it does not increase the 32 cm limit of the handrail perimeter.

What maintenance do they need?

Check the tightening of screws, straps, and seams at least once a year. If there is wear, cracking, or fraying, the strap must not be used. Straps are replaced no later than 5 years, regardless of their condition.

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
