How the set works
Height from the stick, gentle support from the hook
The two parts work together to position support where the petioles need it, without turning the product into a trellis or climbing system.
- The support stick goes into the growing medium and sets the support height.
- The leaf hook slides onto the stick and gently holds the group of petioles.
- The transparent acrylic hook stays discreet among the leaves.

Measure the support height and the group of petioles
Measure from the surface of the growing medium to the point where you want the petioles to rest, then estimate the diameter of the group the hook will surround at that height.
Height and diameter are a fixed pair in each option. Check both measurements before choosing. The hook should cradle the petioles naturally, without pressing them towards the centre.

Four steps for correct support
Fit the set before the petioles bend sharply and adjust its position as the plant grows.
Start on the side of the acrylic hook opposite the printed logo.
Press it carefully into the growing medium where you want to support the leaves.
Slide the leaf hook onto the stick and position it at the right height.
Guide them gently onto the arms without pressure, and check their position as they grow.
Keep the hook clean and check its position regularly
Gentle care maintains the acrylic’s clarity, while regular adjustment leaves room for petioles as their position changes.
Clean the hook when needed, without harsh sponges or abrasive cleaners.
Make sure no petiole is under pressure and adjust the hook’s position when needed.
Do not force the stick against thick roots or force bent petioles to straighten suddenly.
Remove, clean and refit the set when the support point or plant changes.
Leaf support—not a climbing system
The Hook Stick Set does not replace a moss pole, trellis or other structural support for climbing plants. Its purpose is to position and hold leaf hooks for heavy or drooping leaves.

01Which size should I choose?
First check the height above the growing medium where the petioles need support, then how much space their group occupies at that point. Available combinations are 20 cm–Ø45 mm, 40 cm–Ø100 mm and 60 cm–Ø127 mm.
02What exactly does each option include?
One support stick at the selected height and one Stem Support Leaf Hook in the matching diameter. Plant and pot are not included.
03Is it suitable for climbing plants?
It can be used on a climbing plant only to support particular leaves. It does not act as a moss pole, trellis or support for upward growth.
04Do I need to remove protective film?
Yes. Remove the protective film from the side of the acrylic hook opposite the printed logo before use.
