Painted? Nope — just born this way 🖼️
Family: Crassulaceae • Pot diameter: 5.5 cm
A standout rosette of light green with deep burgundy striping along the veins and margins — as if brushed on by hand. The texture is smooth, the leaves thick and symmetrical, giving “tropical” elegance in succulent form. Perfect for collections, small windowsill pots, rock gardens, and modern compositions that crave bold colour contrast.
Very bright spot with good airflow. Use a succulent/pumice mix for excellent drainage and a pot with a drainage hole.
Goal: showcase the burgundy striping and the symmetry.
Identity: A selected form within Echeveria, notable for its “painted” foliage; each rosette’s patterning is unique.
Character: Smooth, thick blades with pronounced burgundy veins and margins for high contrast.
Name: The epithet “Nodulosa” alludes to small nodular tissues at leaf/stem bases, adding subtle relief.
