LECHUZA Wick System · direct planting in PON

The plant is transplanted into the plant liner — the wick connects the PON to the water reservoir

The DELTINI is not used as a simple cover pot for the nursery pot. The plant is removed from its original pot and planted directly into the plant liner with LECHUZA-PON. The integrated wick transfers moisture from the reservoir to the mineral substrate, while the water-level indicator shows how much water remains.

The removable element is the inner plant liner, not the outer planter body.
Plant directly in LECHUZA-PON; do not fill the outer planter body with substrate.
The plant liner has the same color as the planter for a unified premium look.
There is no overflow valve, so use is recommended indoors.

Proper planting in four steps

The official guidelines of DELTINI specify full planting in LECHUZA-PON.

01 · Assemble the indicator

Snap the transparent top part onto the body of the water-level indicator that is already inside the plant liner.

02 · Add the PON

Initially fill the plant liner with part of the LECHUZA-PON, leaving enough space for the root ball.

03 · Transplant

Remove the plant from the pot, gently shake off the excess soil, and fill around the roots with PON.

04 · Water from above

Slowly add water from the top until the indicator reaches MAX; for low-consumption plants, fill only up to the middle.

Remove dust and fingerprints with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong cleaners that may dull the surface.

Proper watering cycle

MIN does not mean immediate filling

When the indicator reaches MIN, the dry phase that the specific plant needs follows. Its duration depends on the species, the light, and the temperature, so the indicator is used together with the actual needs of the plant.

For indoor use only

The DELTINI Premium does not have an overflow valve for excess rainwater, and LECHUZA recommends it for indoor use. Do not place it in an uncovered outdoor area where it can fill with rain.

No. In DELTINI Premium, the plant is removed from the nursery pot and planted directly into the removable plant liner with LECHUZA-PON. The outer planter body is not filled with substrate.

How and when do I fill the water reservoir?

After planting, you water slowly from above until the indicator reaches MAX, using about 0.5 L of water. For plants that consume little water, fill only halfway. When the indicator reaches MIN, allow the plant its appropriate dry phase and then water again.

Can DELTINI Premium be kept outdoors?

With specially designed boxes, we ensure that the plants will reach you intact, no matter what they encounter on the way!

All plants in 3L pots or larger are placed in individual boxes that secure the plant at the base of the pot, preventing it from tipping over.

The cardboard used for the boxes is specially made to provide resistance to potential impacts during transport.
